Streamcoin

How Streamcoin works

A token on Robinhood Chain whose creator fees are tipped to Twitch streamers, live and on chain. This page explains every step and where each number on the home page comes from.

Overview

Every trade of $Streamcoin pays creator fees. Those fees are collected in a public dev wallet, forwarded to a public streamer wallet, and sent from there as tips to streamers who are on air. Nothing is hidden: both wallets are visible on the explorer, every tip is published with its transaction, and the community picks who gets tipped next by voting.

The flywheel

  1. 1
    Trading

$Streamcoin trades on Robinhood Chain. Every buy and sell pays the launchpad creator fee to the dev wallet. No extra tax in the token.

  2. 2
    Fees forwarded

The dev wallet forwards accumulated fees to the streamer wallet. The home page shows both balances so you can see what is waiting and what is ready to tip.

  3. 3
    Tips go live

We tip streamers while they are on air, on chain from the streamer wallet. Each tip is published with the channel, the stream and the transaction hash.

  4. 4
    Attention comes back

A streamer who notices a tip often reads it out or shows it on stream. Their audience finds $Streamcoin, volume grows, fees grow, tips grow. The wheel spins.

Wallets and fees

Two public addresses run the whole thing. The site only reads them. It never holds keys and never signs transactions.

Balances refresh every 30 seconds. ETH is valued at the current market price, USDG at one dollar. Transfers in and out of the streamer wallet appear in the activity feed on the home page within a minute.

Payouts

A payout is a transfer from the streamer wallet to a streamer. When one is sent, it is published on the Payouts page with:

  • the channel, its avatar and whether it is live right now,
  • the amount in the asset that was sent and its dollar value at the time,
  • the transaction hash on Robinhood Chain, so anyone can verify it,
  • a short note about the stream it went to.

Totals on the home page (tipped so far, number of payouts, number of streamers) are computed from these published payouts only.

Voting

The carousel on the home page shows channels from our list that are live right now. Anyone can vote for who should get the next tip.

  1. 1
    Connect a wallet

Phantom or MetaMask. You sign a short message, no transaction and no gas. The signature only proves you own the address.

  2. 2
    Vote

One wallet holds one vote. Voting for another channel moves your vote there. Counts and percentages update on every card.

  3. 3
    Round ends

After the winner is tipped, votes are reset and a new round starts.

Streamers we tip

The list started from the top of Twitch by viewers and is curated by hand. Channels that were tipped show the total next to their name. Browse the full list.

The token

$Streamcoin is not launched yet. When it is, the contract address, market cap and a Buy button appear here and in the header. The fee mechanics above start with the first trade.

Robinhood Chain is an Ethereum L2 (chain id 4663). Gas is paid in ETH, USDG is the chain’s dollar stablecoin.
